Noel Swartz, CPA

Noel Swartz is Vice President of Assurance Services and Shareholder at Johnson Price Sprinkle PA accounting firm.  Having joined JPS in 2013, Noel works with middle market businesses in Western North Carolina providing assurance and advisory services.  He holds a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Ohio Northern University.

Noel has over 20 years’ experience in both public and private accounting with small to middle market companies in various industries.  He is highly regarded for his technical expertise and genuine client-based approach.

In assurance services at JPS, Noel focuses on auditing, accounting, agreed upon procedure engagements and related consultations to a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, breweries, construction, co-operatives, not-for-profits, foundations, employee benefit plans, and clubs.  His effective communication style and comprehensive knowledge make him highly valued and respected in the industry.

Prior to JPS, Noel was an assurance partner in the Boston office of Marcum LLP and a senior manager for Deloitte in both Dayton, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He has been a national instructor for Deloitte and was the national partner in charge of Marcum University.  Early in his career, he was a controller for a family-owned manufacturer in Ohio.

In his spare time, Noel enjoys offroad cycling, kayaking, racing cars, playing the guitar, and spending time with his wife and extended family.
