Mitchell Smith is an Associate in Assurance Services. At JPS, his work includes compilations, reviews, audits, and agreed upon proceedures.
Prior to JPS, Mitchell gained logistics, sales, and financial analytics experience working with privately-held businesses. These experiences provide a depth of understanding in operations, bookkeeping, and business mechanics that he applies to his work in assurance.
Mitchell earned a B.A. in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry & Literature from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, a Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and, a Master of Physiology from North Carolina State University with Magna Cum Laude honors.
In his spare time, Mitchell enjoys hiking, traveling, going to local breweries, and spending time with his wife and family.
