Karen S. Gray, CPA, MST

Karen S. Gray is a Senior Manager in Tax Services at Johnson Price Sprinkle PA.  Karen has over 20 years of public accounting experience. At JPS, she provides tax compliance, consulting, and preparation services to corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, and high net worth individuals.

Karen has significant experience working with a variety of clients but her primary focus has been on privately-owned, closely-held businesses and their owners.  She has worked with numerous industries including manufacturing, construction, real estate, healthcare, and nonprofits. Her business and tax services have also focused on multi-state and consolidated entities with a strong emphasis on tax compliance and planning.  Karen has worked in Virginia and South Carolina with national and regional public accounting firms.

Karen holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Taxation from Virginia Commonwealth University.  She is a Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

In her free time, Karen enjoys reading historical fiction & mysteries, hiking, and spending time with her family.  She has a well-stamped National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass, which includes a six-week vacation to Alaska.
