April K. Westmoreland, CPA

April is a Senior Manager at Johnson Price Sprinkle PA. She joined the firm in 1999 following the completion of her B.S. in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She then continued her education by receiving a Master of Accountancy at Western Carolina University.

Having worked for JPS over 20 years, April has significant experience in assurance services. She has worked with a broad range of industries, with a specific focus on not-for-profit, government entities, and employee benefit plans. April provides a personal and systematic approach to her services which include compilations, reviews and audits
of financial statements.

April also works in taxation services at JPS. She has experience working with small, closely held businesses, not-for-profits and individual clients.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, crafting, and spending time with her husband and son. She is originally from Georgia, having moved to Marion at a young age and graduating from McDowell High School.
