Noel Swartz Joins the JPS Team in Asheville

Noel Swartz recently joined the JPS team in Asheville as a Senior Manager with our Assurance group. Noel has over 20 years of experience working in both public accounting and private industry with middle market companies in various industries. He earned his BA in Accounting and Finance from Ohio Northern University and is a CPA. Early on in his career, Noel worked as a controller for a manufacturing company. Noel has industry experience with manufacturing and distribution, professional services, healthcare, high-technology, real-estate and employee benefit plans. Most recently, Noel was an assurance partner in the Boston office of Marcum LLP and previously worked in the Dayton and Pittsburgh offices of Deloitte. Noel also has a passion for teaching and mentoring and has served as an instructor at regional and national seminars.

Originally from Ohio, Noel spent the last eight years in Boston. He recently relocated to Asheville with his wife to be closer to family and friends. In the past, Noel has served on the boards of several community organizations, such as the Massachusetts Horticultural Society and the Dayton I-Zone. He is looking forward to also becoming actively involved in the Asheville community. Outside of work, Noel enjoys road cycling, playing tennis, racing cars and playing the guitar.
