Leslie Johnson Announces His Retirement

After almost 45 years of service in public accounting, including 39 years with Johnson Price Sprinkle PA, Leslie Johnson announced his retirement. Please join us in congratulating Leslie on an outstanding career as a CPA!

Leslie has made numerous contributions to Johnson Price Sprinkle PA (JPS) through the years. Most notably is his commitment to developing a culture of creative thinking within the firm by looking for proactive ways to solve client needs. At JPS, we share his pride in the distinction he has achieved contributing to regional and national CPA organizations. He held numerous leadership roles with CPAmerica and CPA Connect, aiding the development of an international network of accounting firms dedicated to sharing resources and a commitment to excellence. Leslie is well known for his accomplishments in continuing education for the profession, winning numerous awards as an outstanding discussion leader for the North Carolina Association of CPAs receiving the Don Farmer Discussion Leader Award. Leslie has served the state association NCACPA in a number of capacities, as a member and chair, including very first chair of the Peer Review Committee and member and chair of the CPE Committee. We know his retirement will be enriched by the realization that he achieved his career goals through both individual successes and the success of JPS.
Leslie plans to increase the amount of time he spends at his home in Bluffton, South Carolina and traveling the country in his new motor home. He will continue to work with JPS to accomplish a seamless transition of client services. Leslie will be present at the Asheville office on a part-time basis through tax season for consultations.
