JPS Participates in Asheville Chamber Health and Wellness Forum

Asheville- Stephanie Emerson, JPS Director of Firm Administration, was one of five panelists addressing the more than 50 attendees on the subject of wellness in the workplace at the Asheville Chamber of Commerce Health and Wellness Forum on January 12, 2012. We at JPS are proud that, since its inception, the ongoing wellness program at firm has been recognized as a model for other companies. The panel fielded questions and spoke to the attendees on the benefits of a wellness programs and how to get started. Other local leaders on the panel included: Dr. Ron Paulus, President and CEO, Mission Hospital System – Paul Vest, President and CEO, YMCA of Western North Carolina – Katie Craig, Facilities and IT Manager, Van Winkle Law Firm, and Anne Thornhill with the North Carolina Prevention Partners/Work Healthy America Program.
