JPS Nona Workman Awarded 40 Under 40
Johnson Price Sprinkle PA is proud to announce Nona Workman, CPA has been awarded 40 Under 40 by the Biltmore Beacon. The Biltmore Beacon is a local publication that selects individuals involved in the community who possess leadership potential, and, meet specified age requirements.
Nona is an Associate at Johnson Price Sprinkle PA and joined the firm in 2014. She graduated with distinction in Literature from the University of North Carolina Asheville and later continued her education at UNCA by taking accounting classes needed to qualify for CPA licensure. While in the accounting program at UNCA, Nona held a leadership role in the UNCA Accountancy Association and became a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.
Nona works in assurance services at JPS. Her work includes agreed upon procedure and consulting engagements, employee benefit plan audits, reviews, compilations, and a wide range of targeted audit services for both not-for-profits and corporations. She is highly regarded for her technical expertise and genuine client-based approach. She mostly works with small and large for-profit corporations, municipalities, and non-profits.
Nona believes in community. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors of YWCA of Asheville and Western North Carolina as the Board Treasurer, and is a member of the Executive and Finance committees. She supports the United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County and has previously volunteered with Reuter Family YMCA, Half the Sky Movement, and Lee National Denim Day for Breast Cancer Awareness.
