Changing Lives with Habitat for Humanity

December 2012

Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity recently dedicated four new homes to Partner Families at the recent Key Passing Ceremony. Here at JPS, we are honored to be a sponsor. These deserving families will now be in a safe and warm home just in time for the holidays. The ceremony took place at the Carney Neighborhood located in the heart of West Asheville.

JPS has been a long time supporter of the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity (AAHH) through funding and volunteer labor. This ceremony signifies the sixth home JPS has sponsored. Over 250 hours of labor were volunteered by JPS associates. Bud Hughes and Stephanie Emerson performed the key passing ceremony.

“We are very glad to be involved and support the contributions Habitat (AAHH) makes everyday to the community!” – Ben Hamrick, CEO
