Leslie has been a shareholder at JPS since 1977, having joined the firm in 1973. His primary focus is CPA firm relations and peer review, and he also provides clients with accounting, auditing, and personal income tax and financial planning services. Leslie is a regular continuing education instructor for both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, and he's been honored as Outstanding Discussion Leader for the past 12 years. He regularly leads financial literacy workshops for civic and church groups throughout Western North Carolina.

Leslie enjoys spending time with his wife, Robin, and their six children and three grandchildren. He's a big fan of UNC athletics and other sports, and he and his wife frequently travel to Bluffton, SC and Williamsburg, Va. They also enjoy home remodeling and have had 17 homes in their married life.
